With the rising costs of AAA development and the developers ensuring sales, Elden Ring is a rare beast that we seldom see in this day and age.

Elden Ring Tarnished Edition for Switch 2 appears on Amazon as a game key card, priced at $79.99 with expansion included.
Before anyone complains, this is the same price on PlayStation, Xbox and Steam. It comes with the Game and the DLC.
A newly uncovered piece of cut content from Elden Ring has revealed an intriguing plot thread that never made it into the final game.
Red Dead Redemption 2 mod turns the game into Elden Ring, adding spells, boss fights, and Uncle as the final boss.
It's a solid game that reminds me of gaming in the 90's but way better art. They don't insult players with MTs, cut content, question marks all over the place, button prompts and minimaps. Elden Ring is "like" play me and have fun. Other games are "like" follow me and have fun.
Other games tell people that they are too stupid to play the game without help. This same attitude comes out when publishers and devs talk sh"# to gamers: "Gamers don't understand NFTs". "Don't you guys have phones?", "A since of pride an accomplishment.", ""50" times the detail.", "If you don't like it don't buy it." and so on. This is not to mention the amount of the same that is sold to everyone for premium price. It's not "fast food", it's called a hustle.
It is the whole culture of FromSoft and the gaming culture that surrounds it combined with a great game.
witcher 3 is the best open world game ever made, sorry but this game doesn't compare.
I have Witcher 3 on switch it looks great on that and Eden ring I just got I will continue to enjoy both those games
