Eh, I remember throwing controllers back in the old days too. Games like R-Type were just ridiculous and basically required you to memorize the levels.

It's decreasing.

Go play Battletoads and you'll agree... if you come back alive.

It's decreasing, not increasing.

Games are getting easier.

ninsass6370d ago

games are becoming more user friendly

Rob0g0rilla6370d ago

The new Need for Speed game is good example. It's easy as hell.

Are_The_MaDNess6370d ago

For me it is online games. Socom has caused me to break a number of controllers and headsets back in the PS2 days.

one the biggest disappointment/frustrating moments in in this gen is when I first played gta 4

am a HUGE gta fan, maybe the biggest, gta 3,vc and sa were best ps2 games imo, after all the hype, the passion, the 10's from ign and gs and others,I thought that it will be the greatest game of all time and one game I'll play for the next 5 years

and then,it was an 8 game, omg R north, the city was huge and the best ever, the main characters is one to remember for years, production values were high, has its own charm/humor but the gameplay, while solid but lacked the same magic of old gta games, gameplay was heavy, realistic

please north,I want the next gta to be 1000 out of 10 game, please guys,I respect you and imo you are one of the greatest devs ever, you can't beat R north or dma(in the past)

space station:silicon vally (n64)
body harvest (n64)
gta 3
gta:vice city
gta:san andreas

R north are true legends, true innovators, can't imagine gaming without them, gta has unmatchable gameplay/humor,gta is one of the reasons we play games, wish you best luck guys, work hard :)

"Gaming’s Biggest Fighting Franchise"

Press X to (seriously) doubt.

DarXyde33d ago

Underrated comment. I used to hate that game so much that any time my siblings asked me to play it, I just picked Hom and shut myself down mid-match.

And then MK1 killed it again.

15 years went by so fast. I remember playing through the story mode at launch.
