A good chunk of players aren’t happy with some of the new factions and mechanics but the main point of contention is definitely the performance issues. Today, Creative Assembly hosted a 25th anniversary showcase, with a couple of announcements for both historical and fantasy Total War fans.
I'm pleased as punch for Total War fans who wanted another Medieval. I wanted Empire 2 but Creative Assembly listened to their fans at least

Sega and Creative Assembly will reveal "what's next for the franchise" alongside the release of the latest Total War: Warhammer 3 legendary lords expansion.
Looking forward to the announcement of another game so they can milk me for another 100 DLCs.
I still play Medieval II. I'd rather donate to the modders than get bent over with DLC.

Today Sega announced its financial results for the first half of the fiscal year, related to the period between April and September 2024.
SEGA said they were all about multiplatform, Still waiting for Total War to arrive on consoles and don't give me any crap about only being able to use a mouse with it either. That myth has been blown out the water all the way back to Herzog Zwei and Dune 2 on the Mega Drive.
A 970 4gb is flirting with low-end gpu specs for this one.
FWIW, those fps hits might be reduced further by turning down the lighting.
