New Fallout 76 Roadmap Revealed

Looking forward to more excursions in the Wastelands. Bethesda Game Studios is gearing up for an exciting year in Fallout 76. Throughout 2022, players will experience a new lineup of content, beginning with the Invaders From Beyond update in Spring. Summer promises a variety of Public Events to play through.

They've been doing a lot to improve the game. Was garbage when it came out, but it's pretty fun nowadays.

phoenixwing1544d ago

Would you be singing their praises if Microsoft didn't own them now

Garethvk1544d ago

It has been improving over time and is a fun diversion.

MadLad1544d ago

Yes.

Now could you give it a rest?
I've been playing their games since the Morrowind days, and have given them more than enough criticism over the years.

@Ian

No Man's Sky has highly improved since launch. But it falls just in line with games like Fallout 76, and Cyberpunk. Straight up lies told by developers and only the early adopters suffered.
I was addressing the N4G community for giving just one of these developers a pass, despite all doing the same exact thing. I don't condone that from anyone.

IanTH1544d ago

The same could be said for NMS. You should consider giving them the same leeway :-)

Garethvk1544d ago

I prefer more campaign content but there is some interesting stuff here.

Meh

We judge what’s given to us as consumers, they took the p***, lied, gave us shit and not even a decent Fallout experience for full price

Anything can get better over time, the thing is we shouldn’t be judging them on that. I know everyone loved a good “redemption story” but screw them, this type of shit should not be supported otherwise companies will keep treating us like we are massive suckers

Ted

It's so crazy that you think fallout and cyberpunk games should get the same treatment as NMS

NMS at its peak had like 10-12 developers, vast majority of the game was developed by team of 5-6, they didn't have the budget/other resources compared to Bethesda and CDPR and their studio got flooded which caused them to lose a lot of valuable data

So what's the excuse for fallout 76 and cyberpunk. Fallout 76 failed because developers thought they could just ride the wave of fallout popularity and refused to use an actual next generation engine that could handle it

And CDPR straight up lied and than they hid behind their lies even more. They didn't release console footage till after the game released

Let me know when fallout 76 and cyberpunk actually make a legit and sincere effort to make Major improvements to their games like NMS has. And stop this why hide it if you like Xbox brand more be open about it. I like PlayStation more but I will be getting series x because Ms have a lot of studios that will be making the type of games I like

But I will call out Sony and Ms if they step out and it doesn't matter because it's one gamer but call it how it is. These billion dollar companies don't need us defending them for free. They actually need to put in the effort to make actual improvements and offer better products

2nd year into this generation and still they haven't figured out a way to buy the console. I have noticed scalper prices rising again because most retailers haven't recently done any major drops

Walmart does that plus membership(worth it)
Bestbuy with total tech crap
Sony will invite only
Target just needs a overhaul to their website.

I have 2 targets around me and neither console has ever been in stock even during major drops

So now these retailers are hiding these products behind paywalls and neither Ms or Sony are doing anything about it

As someone who is paying for Walmart plus I am happy because the service is so worth it. Free same day shipping alone makes it worth it and if any of you are looking for a next generation console use Walmart they will actually let you buy one with 10 minutes window

I have that reaction when I see this game pop up as well, but it is clear they have enough players & make enough money to keep building on it. Companies simply don't support titles that don't generate money, so always assume it's doing better than you think it is lol.

Garethvk1544d ago

I completed the core missions and pop in for new campaigns and events. It is fun but when I am done with the new stuff I move on until something new is added.

Father__Merrin1544d ago

the game was good from day 1 just a bit bare bones. anyone know if they have added more radio station music?

Angyobangyo1543d ago

Lol, good from day 1. Good one.

slowgamer1544d ago

I think they should have overhauled graphics a bit. If it looked good it would be more fun to shoot those abnormally fast ghouls and try to complete mediocre repeating missions.
