
In the gaming world two thing have been true since the beginning:
1. No one holds the crown forever.
2. Newcomers don't have it easy.
Knowing this, Microsoft waded into the console wars last generation with the mighty Xbox – a giant, black box stuffed with superior hardware and innovation. Sony's PlayStation 2 was the undisputed winner of that war, but the Xbox managed to carve out a place in the race that helped make the early release of the Xbox 360 a success. Years later the dust is settling and Microsoft finds itself trailing behind the Nintendo Wii in numbers but handily beating the supposed juggernaut, Sony's PlayStation 3, in sales.
It is with that in mind that we have named the Xbox 360 our system of the season. Why?

A brutal reset, a smarter story, and a return to what made it great—Mortal Kombat (2011) revived the series.

The console of the season is still Wii (according to sales), but 360 and PS3 are cool - wonderful time to own all 3 consoles!
you may not like microsoft but u have to agree that they have certinly tried this generation console wars
... but microsoft have done well this holiday season their advertising is everywhere,sony will lose this generation if they dont take a leaf outta microsofts book and advertise aggressively
