Gamereactor: "We've taken a look at Square Enix's RPG ahead of its launch in a few weeks."
Square Enix will release a physical edition of Triangle Strategy for PlayStation 5 on May 29 in Southeast Asia, the company announced. It will support both English and Japanese voice-overs and subtitles.
Triangle Strategy was originally released as a Switch exclusive. On August 20 2025, it was shadow-dropped on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
Triangle Strategy is out now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Sadly the VR mode wasn't a part of the press release/information that they've shared
On Meta Quest you got to "stand over" the playing field as if it were a virtual game board. So it wasn't VR from the perspective of the characters, but VR as "you" overseeing the game and its events!
It's really cool. If you've played Moss, imagine a strategy game with the same perspective.

very good game for those that are on the fence about it, great narrative despite the silly name and lots of replayability with story choices
I think this is one of the reasons I can't see Square being bought out by Sony or anyone else for that matter. They have a really strong relationship with Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft in their own and unique ways.
I couldn’t find info on this earlier this week, but have they announced if the Western releases will have the option for Japanese voices or not … ?
