Looks generic. Don't know what this guy is talking about

It says work in progress, but something just looks off. Even graphically it's not really impressive, it looks mid-tier even by last generation standards.

Yeah looks boring af. Not sure what they are going for here. It's clearly not a sim, but it can't hold a candle to arcade racers like wreckfest either. Just a weird tight course semi arcade racer with no damage modeling and weird physics? I think they were trying to make it have a story or something too, which is the last thing I want from a racing game. Also why do sparks look like yellow confetti shooting out of the cars?

Handling looks fine for what they're doing, Codemasters have a lot of experience. It's reminding me of Project Gotham Racing.

Either the video is compressed, or the quality is just bad. Also, there is nothing even remotely exciting about this race. This looks incredibly dead.

Tell me if I'm wrong but isn't it using the same game engine as the first one back in 2008?

So, if you've had your fill of Fusion Fusion, we highly recommend GRID Legends - not least because it's jam-packed with various graphical modes, adapted specifically with the Switch 2 in mind.

GRID Legends Switch 2 Review | TheSixthAxis

GRID Legends comes to Switch 2 in an accomplished port of a racer that feels better on this handheld than ever.

GRID Legends originally released in 2022, appearing across the last generation PS4 and Xbox One, as well as the shinier PS5 and Xbox Series consoles. That immediately puts it in a good spot for the Switch 2, with Nintendo’s newest system sitting somewhere between the two, performing comparably to the PS4 in many scenarios, while tapping into some of the latest techniques like DLSS and ray tracing.

As with GRID Autosport, Feral Interactive has taken the high octane reins from original developer Codemasters. Their approach here is certainly successful, especially because they put the game’s performance and visuals directly within your control.
