"Microsoft has been developing Windows 7 under a shroud of secrecy worthy of Apple, and it's led to a rash of rumours and unfounded expectations.
So let us state for the record: Windows 7 doesn't have a new kernel, it doesn't run in the cloud and it's not based on Midori (a research project focused on writing an OS in managed code).
In fact, Windows 7 uses the same driver model as Vista – and even refers to itself as version 6.1. We've got our hands on the Milestone Three (M3) pre-beta release of Windows 7, so read on to find out exactly what to expect from Microsoft's newest OS."

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.

Spiders: "We're going to cut straight to the chase so you're not left wondering: After a long period without clear answers, we have received confirmation that Spiders is being liquidated.
What does it mean? This means the company as a whole no longer exists. We'll cease our functions immediately. The planned DLC will release via Nacon, and then-- well, that's it.
We're sorry that it's come to this and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years.
If you have any questions or run into issues with your games, please contact Nacon directly as we'll no longer be able to reply."
Windows...
I think that sums up what's going to happen...
Mass adoption, massive BSOD, massive bugs...
Yet, massive $$$.
you know people want to forget that they are pretty much using windows vista with a few twitches and what they call the user experience interface but in the end is all the same with a new name. They should sell this for 100 as a Service Pack. Seriously.
Does anybody know what will happen with people that own Vista? I just got a new computer today that was preloaded with Vista. Will they be offering a free upgrade or anything? I suppose that I should know that it will be like 100 bucks, but coming out with a new operating system so soon after the release of a previous is just silly.
I hope this one isn't like Windows Pista. For the sake of PC gamers!
