Blue Box Game Studios has released the first teaser image for their upcoming Abandoned Tech Demo.
From VGC: "Blue Box Game Studios, the developer behind the horror game Abandoned, has thanked Hideo Kojima for publicly addressing long-running speculation that he’s involved in the vapourware project.
Earlier this week Kojima broke his silence about being linked to the project on his podcast, Brain Structure, in an attempt to end months of rumours that the Metal Gear creator was the secret mastermind behind the controversial game.
“We want to thank @Kojima_Hideo for addressing the conspiracies openly,” Blue Box tweeted. “It has been a burden and not cool for both fans and developers. We hope everyone can close this for good.”"
Not true in the slightest, on more then one occasion, they said they weren’t involved. This is a tweet in 2021. “ We wanted to set things straight. We have no relations with Konami. Silent Hill is owned by Konami. We do not have any relations with Hideo Kojima. It was never our intention to tease the name as Silent Hill. We sincerely apologize for this.”
And they kept addressing this rumour over and over. This is the fans fault
Yep you're right, it's all the fans fault and absolutely not Hasan Kahraman's own doing at all. He's the victim here and a stand up guy. Not even close to being a con artist or opportunist.
So what about posting a blurry photo of a guy in a eye patch while people think your game is connected to Kojima?
So did or did they not say they weren’t connected to kojima in any way? Because it seems clear as day that they said they weren’t. Kinda seems like dumbasses wanted there to be a connection.
Thanking him for resolving a conspiracy that they basically encouraged and rode for as long as they could. How nice of them.
Kojima again speaking about the game & the studio just to revive the debate when no one is even talking about it anymore is yet again a fishy scenario & action.

Are you serious!? That was almost a year after they created the conspiracy theory themselves, intentionally numerous times trying to promote that it was linked. They openly used him as a marketing tool to a point I’m surprised they haven’t been sued. I would imagine there has been some form of talks between solicitors at some point. Which is maybe why it’s now cancelled.
Should be more concerned about their lack of follow through with what they said they'll release.

I think Abandoned isn't a real game. At least not in the sense of what we think. I think it is it is the ghost of another game that we all wanted and it was abandoned. It is now literally haunting us.
At this point is has to be some sort of marketing gimmick. The name itself is kind of on the nose.
Because they basically create easy articles for people that get attention.
Just like Star Citizen updates.

Blue Box Game Studios… Bluepoint actually released some awesome stuff, Demons Souls Remake , SoTC remake . Blue Box Game Studios is part of some marketing scheme to f with people and that’s it so far

It's still there, to an extent.
Now it's just a general comment cap for everyone, I'm assuming.
The bubble system was flawed, being it just let the majority quiet comments they didn't like if I remember correctly.

I know bluepoint and I know they're a good studio (hopefully they'll remake mgs for us), I know the all the history about this abandoned facade and just hate the fact that they're trying to convince someone that this is still a thing. cut me some slack. Blue Box deletes tweets about Abandoned future plans which include the mention of a demo. Studio says they are facing a "minor delay."
This project was/is a train wreck. Even if the game turns out to be a legitimate product Hasan will have an impossible task of convincing the world he's not a con artist.

Does anyone care? That's an honest question. The hype is dead as far as I can tell, killed by the devs that brought it on themselves. Not to mention the dev has a history of abandoning projects.
This has to be the biggest fail of the year. Literally EVERYTHING has gone wrong for these guys. I feel kinda bad but also I think they bit off more than they could chew. Who knows tho MAYBE they end releasing something decent in the end regardless
At this point, with all the studio's missteps and broken promises, it might be difficult to look forward to anything they have to say until the final reviews are out for the game to really judge if it's worth a play.
