
Letdowns galore, particularly some big titles that could've gone better.

In a surprising turn of events, the worst-rated Battlefield game has now overtaken the Call of Duty HQ app in terms of player count.
A) misleading
B) no shortage of players on either game
C) doesn't make either game better or worse. Just play the one you like
Played BF2042 when it came out. Thought it was trash. Played it now after BF6 beta, and they have made a ton of fixes to it. Now its really good.
CoD will still be popular as ever. 2042 is just scratching the itch of folks who want more BF after playing the beta.
This happens all the time. Look at Fallout76 after the show came out….
It would be interesting to see what the player base for COD would look like right now if they also made BO6 3.99 on Steam.
It would have been cool if Balan Wonderworld was a great 3D platformer but it just wasn't. I'm glad they released a demo and saved me $60. However, when you release a demo for your game and get widespread criticism and negative feedback, maybe you should take that to heart, delay the game and fix/work on it more.
not sure if anyone was really hyped for that Werewolf game to be able to experience disappointment for it.

Picking plainly bad games doesn't make them "disappointing." Much less the "Most" disappointing. If nobody was interested in the first place, there's nothing to be disappointed about.
This article title should be renamed to "Worst games of the year."
