DF: "Every Xbox console tested with 343 Industries' long-awaited Halo sequel. Open world gameplay defines Infinite, on an engine that scales impressively to all consoles old and new. Xbox One gets the first billing in this analysis as we test original 2013 hardware - where a dynamic 1080p and 30fps cap are respectably held, if let down by uneven frame-pacing. How does Xbox One X, Series S and X augment this experience? Are frame-rates successfully locked at 60fps on more powerful consoles? And what of loading times? Tom runs through every version, every mode, to get you the answers in this breakdown."

from paulsemel.com: In this exclusive Q&A, the author of five previous "Halo" novels talks about this "Halo Infinite" sequel story about Master Chief.
Halo Infinite's live service updates will be ending with Operation: Infinite set to be released on November 18, 2025.
Well good luck with the next game, been on almost all systems will help the game life and strengthen their community with fresh blood.
Onto the next 10 year promise! When that turns out to be more Unreal slop you can drop it and promise the same for the game after.
I’m one of the 15 people that regularly play this. Oh well. Hopefully the game will retain a small dedicated player base.

Glenn Israel writes: "As of today and after seventeen long years, I am officially no longer contributing to the Halo universe. There is little more I can say for the moment, though I intend to share this particular story in its entirety when it is absolutely safe to do so next year. In the meantime, I have a message for anyone and everyone who needs to hear it.
I know that the state of our industry seems dire, but never forget that you are *free to choose*. No illusion of security nor promise of wealth or fame or power is worth trading away your health, your dignity, your ethics or values - and no one can force you to. Stay strong, take evidence when necessary, and find where you belong."
He said something very marking . We tend to complain a lot about the industry but deep down I realize that we never have we been offered this crazy amount of games all available for you to play now . You can literally play any sorts of games in 2025 . Nobody is forcing you to buy the latest COD or the latest BF . You’re more of a 8 bit cozy gaming guy there’s a whole niche of modern games for that . You like micromanaging there’s games for that . I feel like we have been spoiled so much we just stopped being realistic and thinking for ourselves . We follow trends cry about stuff online when you are the buyer you have the power .
....wth happened over there?
Does this confirm a new Halo by next year?
What did they want him to do that made him feel it was morally wrong or a insult to his integrity?
Well how about that, a name change doesn’t fix internal issues
Who would have thought
I have this preloaded on both my Series S and one X. Hell... I might even play it on my Halo Xbox One [VCR] just for kicks.
One x and series x best versions and by far the best choices. Like the last news about this. The one x is much better then the s version that was force to drop frames to 60 and 30 fps. And can't run the game locked at 1080p in any mode. Even DF hopes that 343 can boost the rez of the s version... And was dropped the 120 mode on the s...
Quality mode 1080p / 30 frames on Series S… sight*
This game is looking great and seems to be a blast to play. Impressive how well this engine scales all the way back to the anemic 2013 Xbox. The delay was worth it.
Looking forward to trying this out tonight.
Xbox One X 1440p@60 vs Xbox Series S 1080p@30? WTF?
