I was like take my money until I saw the price and was like umm maybe not. I want the FPS version and would be all over it at around 150, but at 250 It is getting absurd. I have a high end mouse and game pad combo that combined cost me a lot less than this. I bought a scuf once for the ps4 that I did shell out about 175 and then had the paddles break and the controller wore out quickly. I have always been a pro controller fiend until I finally started using m&k but even I gasp at this price. The quality looks nice but at some point new tech needs to be implemented improving accuracy and control to justify the increase in costs from a competitive perspective.

Sexy. I’d rock this - especially if the battery lasts longer. Current battery life is not great (tho I have all the haptics etc set to strong)

Buying the elite controller on the X was a fantastic experience so I would hope this would be similar on the ps5 side.

Scuf controllers are know for a bad quaility build, and 200 and 250 dollars is a rippof.
Is has not al the funtions of the DS and cost 3 times as much. HARD PASS.

For the price I could grab 3 or 4 official PS5 controllers made by Sony. I am sure there are people who will buy them who are into hardcore shooters. Me every time I hear or see a 3rd party controller I just think about the shit companies would pump out. Cheaply made, barely worked, input lag, buttons didn't register, barely lasted a year. I shy away from 3rd party controllers. If I buy a lot of controllers off Ebay to fix and keep and they come in a lot with 3rd party controllers I either pick them for parts if the parts work or I just garbage them.

That's a pretty steep price for an unofficial controller... if it was a Playstation made competitor to the Elite I'd be in, otherwise no.

I would like to see a third-party controller that is made cheaper (which is why I initially clicked this article), it could even be without the haptics etc. I'd like to have a cheaper pad for when friends come over to play, or kids who wreck the controller, etc.

I would love for a PS5 controller with paddles, but not at that price. I will pass bigtime. I also have an XSX and I bought a elite 2 and the damn thing broke in 5 months. Learned my lesson. I ended up buying a Power fusion A controller for $79.99 bought the warranty and I'm good. The controller lasted much longer than the Elite 2, and is still going. Hopefully in the future a 3rd party company can make a PS5 controller with paddles at a very reasonable price.
