MonsterVine: "if you’re lucky enough to not suffer from anxiety, but you want a sense of what it feels like, I recommend checking out Alan Wake"

Xbox has revoked the digital license for Alan Wake Remastered for all those users who claimed free copies via a store exploit.
People probably did the exploit and never played it. They probably won’t even notice and shouldn’t care either way.
As expected, if it wasn't intended to be given away for free then those that did claim it had to get access removed, although it shouldn't have taken a whole month to do so.

Xbox gamers can now claim Alan Wake Remastered for free, thanks to a potential bug on the Windows Storefront.

I never thought of the game that way but I guess article dude is somewhat right in his points.
I feel like a lot of games, if not all games, give this article dude anxiety. I mean, he even said writing the article gives him anxiety.
I’ll be honest there are parts to Alan Wake that gave me anxiety. Like how long it takes to drain the darkness off enemies, how adding batteries sometimes barely gives you any flashlight “energy”, and the fact that Alan can only run for maybe 3 steps before running out of breath that takes maybe 60 seconds or more to snap out of.
Nah, drowning in classic sonic games is the ultimate anxiety simulator lol. I suffer from anxieties, not once playing alan wake did i draw that similarity, to each their own i guess 🤷♂️
When I think of anxiety inducing games, the first that comes to mind is Alien Isolation, lol. I guess that was kind of the point though.
The dude has never had real anxiety if he thinks the game produces it or Replicates at all.
That is just my opinion not saying anything personal mental health is a real issue for all people.
