No. Battlefield 2042 looks like BF5 with different textures and models... Of course more polished, more detail but definitely not next gen or graphically advance game. At least beta look's like that.

I'm playing BF since Bad Company. But this is the first Battlefield game graphics not the top level. But still good game. And I'm happy with that. (Esl guy)

No interest in BF but yes, if you want the best experience and best graphics/sound (try Soundblaster AE series) anywhere PC is where it's at. It will look even better when you throw in reshade.

Hmm didn't look that good to me, best graphics on pc 4k/ultra is a heck of statement... Frostbite never deliver best graphics on any platform, so this updated version must be awesome... Or not...

I thought the character models looked "ok", so do the animations.
Special effects and environmental effects looked awesome. Truly a strength here. The sense of spectacle is here.
Textures are good but not great. Geometry is crap. Character polygons pass through the floor, even on the soldiers themselves when you are down, when you interact with véhicules etc....
It looks good, but I expected way more for something called next gen.
