I had a little conversation with a select few friends the other night, and they invited a few others with them, nice people. But to my point, we talked games, and they specifically game on Xbox, and I told them that’s cool, I enjoy some online gaming with friends (first time I did it was PC as a kid, and Halo 1) and one responded with “Nothing beats playing with friends online. We give each other shit, team up, take out other trash talkers and just have an unforgettable time” and my response was “I love gaming with my friends online, a genuinely wonderful time. However, an evening of alone time, with a story driven game (the PS exclusives) have my family and I enjoying the gaming experience all the more, be it as we play them by ourselves or as a family, it just depends. But being pulled into an engrossing story, with unique/likable characters who test your love for them at times or have you questioning what the heck they’re doing sometimes is a thrill, throw in that world of “Said game” which is a character that’s alive in itself adds to it, along with gameplay that’s super solid, great and top notch across the board. That takes the cake over MP for me any day, personally” I get why you love online gaming more though. They love Halo, BF and Overwatch to name a few.

The overall high quality package you find at PlayStation you won’t find anywhere else” I mentioned Uncharted, which they’ve heard of and TLoU.

So, we discussed a bit more, all of us, and then turned on HZD on PS5, and let a few try that out, they got all giddy lol. I asked if they were interested in Android type stuff and brought up Detroit: Become Human.

One of them said “I’ve heard of Detroit, that’s the game where the character says “My face is tired”🤦🏼‍♂️I said “Whoa...no no, please and chuckled. Wrong game, wrong studio. This game is a masterpiece.

Fun time though and they enjoyed what they played.

Insomniac seems to have perfectly mastered the system of having multiple teams working on multiple different games. ND tried this during the PS3 era, and it's part of how they were able to get 3 Uncharteds and TLOU out between 2007-2013, but we know now that there was infighting and rivalry between the teams and they have since moved away from that structure. Insomniac seems to have no issue with having multiple teams on different games though. I mean, they have already made two of the best PS5 exclusives, and now they have two of the most anticipated as well.

MS should be thankful Sony skipped E3 or they would just be irrelevant (again!) In the show they hyped their fans with.
