Xbox Player Flies to Space in Microsoft Flight Simulator

A player by the name of Straight Up P.O.G. made the journey on an Xbox Series X to see just how high up he could go in the game. While this has been done before on PC, this seems to be the first attempt on the Xbox console recorded thus far.

Im not a big sim guy, but that is actually pretty damn cool. I still cant really wrap my head around just how large that game must be. (and yes I have seen a globe)

RaidenBlack1792d ago

2 globes mostly stay covered up.

Si-Fly1791d ago

My wife got the gloves out last night 👀

Half13yte1792d ago

But have you seen a globe… on weeeeeeed?

Abnor_Mal1792d ago (Edited 1792d ago )

Another fail for MS boring Simulator, the earth is flat at least get that right.

zachyBROosevelt1792d ago

I know you’re being sarcastic about the earth part, just a dated topic so people downvote. Still kinda funny tho thumbs up from me. But Microsoft boring simulator? You’re not doing it right

"But Microsoft boring simulator? You’re not doing it right "

After week and a half Flight Simulator is already almost out of top 50 on Most Played charts in US. In UK is a little better. Yeah, this is a game for just "fly and forget". Looks like Gamepass didn't do shit.

@gravedigger - link to this top 50 most played games charts that ranks recent games being played. I would be curious to see it as I have found no such beats online searching.

Sciurus_vulgaris1792d ago

The earth is flat? How weird is that. Could swear I have scene the curvature of the earth with my own eyes.

VenomUK1792d ago

@Sciurus_vilgaris Because our eyeballs have a natural curve, whenever we see a long flat area it gets distorted so we view it as if it has a curve.

TheColbertinator1792d ago

@VenomUK

Does that mean that the moon is also flat when it orbits the Earth?

specialguest1791d ago (Edited 1791d ago )

@TheColbertintor

Yes the moon is flat like a pancake. If you turn the moon to its side it's flat. That's why the moon surface always looks the same 🌚

Thatgrammar1791d ago

@VenomUK
That is very inaccurate.

DOMination-1791d ago

The problem with conspiracy theorists is that they demand ALL the evidence in the world and even when you provide it they just say its fake. But then they don't provide any evidence for the nonsense that they spout in return. You can't have a rational discussion with people like that and frankly, N4G isn't the place for it.

@Thatgrammar @TheColbertinator Are you Americans?

@TheColbertinator

Don't be ridiculous! But the moon IS made of cheese. Just ask Wallace and Grommit

z2g1792d ago

Do they change the sim mode for that? I use “modern” and I have a hard time getting anything above 65k without stalling.

sweendog1792d ago

The thumbnail is misleading. You need a fighter jet to get that high. The guy used the eurofighter. Either pay for that or wait for the Maverick update to release

Phoenix761792d ago

Eat ya heart out Richard Branson! This MUTHAF@....... got there in a jumbo jet lol

medman1792d ago (Edited 1792d ago )

I'm impressed.

I would have been REALLY impressed if an alien craft buzzed by and shot him down. I would by the devs a beer for that.
