The Outerhaven writes: Amazon has updated us regarding the recent dilemma of RTX 3090 GPUs being bricked while playing its New World MMO.

Amazon Game Studios: "As New World recognizes its fourth anniversary since launching on PC, we reflect on an incredible journey shaped by our dedicated player community. Your feedback and passion have been instrumental in evolving Aeternum into the world it is today, and our team is deeply grateful for this shared adventure. After four years of steady content updates and a major new console release, we've reached a point where it is no longer sustainable to continue supporting the game with new content updates."

New World, the PvP-focused MMO from Amazon Games, is being review bombed on Steam over a recently-announced major relaunch.
If they were gonna get into game development. They should've started with single player games imo

An ad for New World, has surfaced on the PlayStation Network, and this falls in line with the studio teasing an announcement at SGF.
That would make me absolutely sick to my stomach having a game destroy a 3090. The fact that it's a generic looking mmo just adds to the sting.
Amazon should be held responsible and should replace everyone who had their card destroyed, if they can't get a replacement from an RMA. All band together and get a lawsuit.
@Vegamyster hmm so it seems the issue is more on EVGA's RTX 3090. I have a EVGA 3070 XC3 ULTRA since Jan. and been using a few of their GPUs in the past along with my current power supply a EVGA 850w platinum. Now I will be thinking twice as for my next GPU brand even though I have no issues with my GPU. 😁
