I don't get it. Why do people find it confusing? Granted, the stand is fiddly but the manual makes it perfectly clear which way it's supposed to sit and it also shows how to attach the stand. I've got mine sitting horizontally under my TV. No problem and no confusion and I've never put a disc in the wrong way around. I don't get how you could even do that

I have the Digital PS5, but yeah, really, the disc drive is on the bottom but funny story, I bought two PS5s from Gamefly for my co-workers and both of them had their console setup that way putting the game discs in upside down, lol... I mean look at the box the console comes in. Standing up the drive should on your right, facing you, and laying flat it should be on the bottom. Apparently, many gamers had this issue, lol...

It's just a ugly console imo. It's slightly better looking standing but still the ugliest PS console imo.

Lol. I know they wanted it to look futuristic, but I don’t love the design. It’s also awkwardly large. Barely fits in my media center. My series X is an odd size too but it’s smaller and not very deep so on its side its taller, but fits better and since it’s half as deep I can push it back really far so it’s virtually invisible in its space. PS5 feels like it’s competing to be the center of attention. maybe a black PS5 shell would be better, but I don’t love all the odd shapes jutting out and apparently it’s confusing ppl now too hahaha

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.
