NetherRealm is no longer supporting Mortal Kombat 11, a fighting game that never quite managed to unlock its full potential.

The Mortal Kombat Elder God Bundle is live with three definitive editions and all DLC. MK1, MK11 Ultimate, and MKX XL are packed into one collection.

Xbox Game Pass has some great single-player experiences, but nowadays, it's all about getting together with friends and family. Thankfully, there's a surprisingly extensive library of multiplayer titles on Game Pass to bring everyone together.

Cultured Vultures: We've gone to the trouble of ranking the Mortal Kombat games across the series' history. Special Forces is clearly number one.
My favorite is always going to be Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. I know some people didn't like the addition of the run button. But, man that game is burned into my memory from childhood, lol.
MK2 will always be the best in the series. Been playing a lot of MK1 lately though. Definitely enjoying it more than any other NRS era MK game.
I will always have a special place in my memory for MK 1 and 2. You had to be there during that era at the arcades. Martial arts tournament fighting movies were still popular, and MK 1 was exciting. Real life motion captured characters done well (unlike Pit Fighter). A cast of characters we all liked like Bruce Lee(Lui Kang), Van Damme(Johnny Cage), the Lightning god(Raiden) from Big Trouble in Little China, and Ninjas, gotta have Ninjas. Goro was menacing as hell. The MK arcade had some of the best speakers similar to Killer Instinct as you could hear the loud crisp and bassy sound that was distinctly different than other arcades. MK 2 improved greatly on the controls and fighting mechanics
I was still playing X…. I think they release games too often, and underestimate how much people like fighting games with big rosters. Launch one game early on in the gen, and just add DLC for the rest of the gen.
still has stiff choppy ugly animation, odd floaty gameplay that doesn't match the realism of the characters and is just overall bad gameplay wise.
As a casual it was fascinating to see what other things they had never fixed or addressed. I think they could have done more fixes and more characters for another year at least. Sad that it had to end this way.
I agree and it’s a shame because it’s a really fun game. I’ve never put time into online like I did with mk11. It looked great, the story was cool, the KL was fun even with its issues. It had mad potential and just needed a little push. It’s still one of my favorite mk games but it could have been so much better.
I Personally think MKX never reached its potential. Mk11 gameplay is so boring, they took out all the fun stuff that made MKX great just to make it more grounded and esport friendly. This game got way too much support
