OLED is nice but I don’t think it’s worth it. If there were performance upgrades then maybe.

This must be one of the lamest upgrades to a console in gaming history. What happened to the 4K 60FPS pro switch?

I can't be the only one wondering why the first player we see has two lamps right beside him? No wonder he bought that new Nintendo Switch Troll for that OLED.

Well, I see no reason to buy, which is a shame considering how sleek it looks.

Few takeaways from this

- It took Nintendo 20 years to finally put an Ethernet port built in
- 64GB is a step up from 32GB, but it’s still measly. It’s even more egregious that they didn’t just make 64GB the standard size for all models

very disappointed with this announcement. was hoping they did more under the hood. its damn ear the same thing.

I think OLED was a mistake(without a performance bump). The stuttering in lower framerate sources with that technology is nearly unbearable. It takes a lot to get used to if you’re the type to notice that kind of thing.

And again the thing no one talks about, no 4K hardware upscale. Relying on the TV to do the upscale just means there's more input lag making docking mode useless again.

No thanks, Nintendo capped their financial pull from me this cycle. I will not be investing in the switch going forward for a new model. The lite shouldn’t have existed and this should’ve been the initial real model when it first came out.

Well sadly this is aimed at the parents and families that'll eat this up and don't even know there was a rumored performance upgrade.

My switch is going to need an upgrade eventually so I'll probably pick one up in a year or two. No wonder they didn't want to show it at E3 with all the rumors swirling around, it was way too hyped up lol

2:30 minute commercial just to say we have an OLED screen, improved kick stand/audio, and an ethernet jack? Little strange how much runtime was spent on fluff footage of general Switch play.

If this have no upgraded hardware other than the screen then,Oh boy low 20 fps sub 720p on more demanding games are surely going to look glorious on this OLED model 7 inch screen too so all the ugly textures stick out even more.
And stll no change on that D-pad, still four separate buttons.
Not impressed it simply a barely revised Switch with better screen.
If I need to have a Switch again then this is not model I get that's for sure.

Another missed opportunity to put more robust hardware in the dock for a comparable home console experience.

They are going to do the same as with DS 3ds is make constantly revisions and people will buy them even if they already have one
