Had a couple of good conferences, but the whole thing is unnecessary at this point. MS, Nintendo and the rest should just have their own summer events and let E3 die I think. It's time.

Bust unfortunately 😪

For Xbox it was a bust imo. Pushing Online Fallout and Skyrim was just ugh. Horizon, A car racing game isn't all that great when compared to other games. especially the 87th one is the series. Meanwhile Sony is showing an actual good Horizon Zero Dawn and looks levels and levels above any of Xbox 800 indie games they showed. AND you do know more great single player games are coming, like God of War spiderman etc. Not hating on Xbox but there just wasn't anything that got me like "wow, that looks really good". Hellblade should be there new baby and push that to the front. I loved the first one. They need new AAA titles instead of relaying on the same games from the first ever Xbox. And the final game they should was another 4 player generic multiplayer game. The one game I got excited over was AOE and it wasn't coming to the bloody console.

E3 has had its day, time to let it fade and die

The media seems keen on separating Geoff Keighleys summer game festival from E3. So in that case I nearly got more out of that. The tease for Death Stranding maybe being Silent Hill or another project has me talking more than anything else. Then we had Elden Ring. Then me personally Jurassic World evolution 2 has me very excited

I enjoyed it. E3 will always have a place in my heart and E3 is always full of hype every year.

Worst one since those couple of years when they decided to make it strictly a corporate event (I forgot the years).

The Outer Worlds 2 trailer says it all. Finally, someone publicly pointed out that game trailers without game-play are absurd.

E3 is dead, outdated and has been for a while

I thought it was great. Maybe y'all who hated it just don't like hearing about and seeing new games?! I'm always excited to see what lies ahead, it helps build hype. I think that is especially important with new systems out. Are people really that hateful of Xbox that when they come out swinging people just say that E3 sucks as a whole?! Lol maybe y'all should stick to watching movies and such.

Personally Iam cutting e3 a break from any harsh criticism. It's been an incredibly difficult year all around in the industry due to covid. The fact that they even had an e3 was a surprise and the fact that some really good games have been worked on during this time deserves credit.

Bust a big time bust. The absolute worst E3 if have ever witnessed. Only presentation I remotely got any sort of enjoyment out of was the pc gaming show.

Worst E3 I've ever watched, and I've been watching it since the beginning.

This E3 was a huge disappointment. No one brought their A Game!

Both, had some great things, some really crap... but it is losing its shine.I think Microsoft had a better expo than normal and I own a playstation. Some gems here and there, but still waiting for the wow. Better graphics and framerates are great but we need innovation... stuff like A.I etc. I get it it's a business, but being a gamer for 35 years as many of you guys are true gamers, something still feels lacking. I remember the first time I played against bots and then real players, weapons getting 2 modes of fire, heck even games getting a jump button, but where do wengo from here... gor games to be considered art and really standing out as such, it just feels like every reveal its like... dont get your hopes up... its either a copy of something reskinned or a mobile pay 2 win , GAAS or something.

MS and Nintendo had decent to good shows, but all the others were meh to horrible.

Virtual e3 is a waste...what made the old e3 good beyond the presentations is during the show wed get deeper previews from people actually playing the games. And hear and see games that didnt make it to the stage. Virtually its just a big promo reel with no feelings.

Featuring games you don't care about, nobody asked for games that looked terrible, to many unwanted Indies games.

Summer fest was alright, Xbox show was alright, Nintendo show was alright. E3 was pure hot garbage. I can see why Sony pulled out.

Meh, more of a dud. Nothing terrible, but certainly nothing amazing.

It was a boom simply cause of Covid having stopped us last year from enjoying the showcase as much. Though this year they didn’t have crowds I still feel it was much better and a start of E3 Expos for many years to come. Though it’s not complete unless everyone is involved and that includes PS missing this years E3 but we may see more later this year and get a showcase from PS either it be at the gamescom or any other expo that decides to tackle the Covid-19 situation. Though I feel this is a Boom simply cause the gamers need this, as well as the developers and the companies that design create and publish such great hardware and software.

I even watch E3 anymore day 1.
Just wait for the best videos to come out.
No point in wasting several hours to maybe get a few games I want to be honest.
Though I was pleasantly surprised with Microsoft Xbox conference.
Glad they got the hint to let the games do the talking.

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.

Is this like the 10th quarter in a row they're down 33% on hardware how is that even mathematically possible. You would think their mediocrity would Plateau

Wuchang is great. Nine Sols didn’t have a physical copy so I never played it but I’ve heard good things so I will check it out. I stopped playing sports games many years ago when before the card dlc’s or whatever they’re called.
