Love when this happens. I've even bought digital of a game I own physically if it's cheap enough and I really like it. The way I've seen physical game prices of older stuff and newer stuff soar is insane

This game was released on Gamepass day 1. PS subscriptions are still way behind in that department. Still a great game for PS owners.

PS fans have had many other things to play in their back catalogs that aren't multiplat. No need to be at the mercy of what a corporation chooses to drop on their subscription service to find entertainment.

LOL what does that even mean. You realize all gamepass games are available to buy outside of the subscription service right?

I don't know why people get so butthurt just because of a negative truth about their favorite piece of purchased plastic. PS has great exclusives, which xbox has been sucking at. At the same time Gamepass is the greatest value in gaming. Sorry fanboys.

Gamepass core costs the same and they're both subscriptions. In fact, GP core is actually cheaper if you look at the per year price.

#1 GamePass core isn't as good as PS essentials. Not only are the games worse, you also don't get to keep them
#2 What is the per year price for GamePass core? They don't have one is the answer. I don't want to hear about your CD Keys deals.
PS essentials DOES have an annual price and it's cheaper than GamePass core.

@spicelicka GP core is $108 a year and PS essential is $79. And that's without the frequent sales which Xbox doesn't offer. And core doesn't have day one games anyway. So what are you talking about

Rocket League, Stray, Tchia, Humanity, Sea of Stars, Resogun, Teardown, Rogue Legacy 2, Fall Guys, Moving Out 2, Destruction All-Stars, DKO, Meet your Maker, Oddworld: Soulstorm, Worms Rumble, Knack, Deliver us the Moon, Operation Tango, Hell let Loose and many more.

We had plenty of Day 1 games on PS+, many which was included on the lowest tier where we can keep them forever. Games with Gold never had Day 1 releases and GamePass is a rental service, where the games might dissapear.

being a PlayStation fan I can say I like Game Pass and was expecting them to put out a lot of heavy hitters this month of December like they normally do every year but it didn't happen

Probably because Xbox is all about Gamepass whereas PS+ is far more incidental in the grand Sony picture.

Because MS is about Gamepass games like Plague Tales Requien or Evil West are indy shovelware
but since Playstation isn't about PS+ the same game suddenly becomes great?

A few months ago another West game was made available and I thinking it was Evil West got happy, but then disappointed when I realized it wasn’t Evil West, now I’m happy again.

Not saying anything about this selection of games, but I'm giving up on ps+. I've gotten nothing personally from the subscription in a very long time, and don't play multiplayer games any more. For the first time since the introduction of ps+ I'm letting my subscription expire in June. I will not pay their ridiculous $80 for a never-improving service.
