Well, considering how you can play 98% of the games on a PS4, yea kinda makes it difficult to say you're missing out if you don't own one.

I keep hearing its not practical to buy the new systems, but I have both and I love both. The load times alone are worth it. Maybe to the gamer that 0nly plays call of duty and madden its not worth it, but to me it is worth it and it is practical.

They need to release the consoles in stores.

Lol these sites and everyone in media is so anti-Sony it's rediculous. Returnal, demons souls, astros playroom, desutruction Allstars and godfall (both not that great in my opinion) and R&C RA coming out soon would be good arguments against this. On top of that the upgrades to games like miles morales and other ps4 games being upscaled and having more fps, not to mention the duelsense functionality which is legit next gen, more so than anything along with the Tempest 3D audio, are real reasons for a ps5. I didn't even mention almost no loading times and a few other reasons. But it's OK, your backwords compatible box that has no exclusive games is better.

Yeah but except Demon Souls there is Returnal and R&C is coming soon as well as FF7 intergrade with Yuffie dlc soooo… oh and 60fps with all the other new technology is pretty dope as well i guess. And the consolse not sounding like a jet engine is a plus. So please if you have an oppourtunity yes get a Ps5.

Sure I’d prefer all PS5 only games but it isn’t going to be that way until end of 2022 early 2023 but I’ll still enjoy my games that have haptics and 3D sound that aren’t anywhere else but PS5 . It makes business sense right now for many reasons , shortages scalpers and a shitload of PS4 owners . I was fortunate I was able to acquire a PS5 at the release date & I'm pleased with my purchase. I know the first year or two most games will be cross gen though with the next installment of GT7,GOW & HZ are gracing the PS4 as well it almost feels as if the PS5 is a PS4 Pro 2..lol. I assume by 2022/2023 most first party exclusives will be developed for the current gen consoles only.

I used the Chrome add-on Octoshop and got mine like 6 days after launch. I'm sure luck played a part but gosh it felt easy.

this is the only good thing about not being able to get one right now. there really arent a ton of PS5 exclusive games worth spending scalper prices anyway. 4K isnt really booming like that either. we're like sort of in a pandemic like yeah man im not ina hurry. If you can get your hands on a ps5, get one. Dont hesitate. Ghost of tsushima, god of war, spiderman, miles morales, tlou 2, days gone at 60fps is a complete game changer alone plus you get most of those titles for FREE with ps plus. The ps plus collection is what is known as "the best deal in gaming".

Then also consider, Sony is the only company to "believe in generations" by releasing actual next gen hardware titles like rift apart, astrobot, demons souls and returnalLet me reiterate. Sony is is the only one that "Believes in generations" here. The dualsense, 3D audio is amazing and certainly no gimmick.

I was all set to get one until I watched Gamer Nexus do a test on one and saw how hot the memory got.

So I should start praising the bots and scalpers for saving me from getting a PS5 instead of cursing their names? I'll get on that ASAP.

I’m very happy with mine. It has the potential to be a GOAT console.

I have a PS5 and aside from faster load times, VERY few PS5 only games, and minor improvement to a handful of games, it's kind of pointless to get one. Most of the big titles have been pushed to next year and even then, most of them are confirmed to come to the PS4.

I love the PS5 but so far, it's kind of been a disappointment. I find myself playing more PS4 games on my PS5 than actual PS5 games.... I'm sure they'll push out more games at some point, but right now...probably not worth it.

People want what they want. I am pretty sure those who don't have one feel as if they are missing out. I understand that. I have both, PS5s and Series X, and after having them since launch I can say they could have released them this Fall and it would have been better IMO. Better supplies, more features (i.e storage expansion), more games (more Xbox needed), etc.

In the end people will still want them. The PS5 is in huge demand and that's an understatement.

Maybe a dumb question... but why don't retailers simply let people sign up proactively for them? Why can't I be in a half million person deep Amazon queue? Wouldn't this be a great thing for the sellers too? Just don't let a single address sign up twice if you want to minimize hoarding/scalpers. There's something I don't get about this... I'm just tired of the stupidity of it all.

It's best to buy a new console a year after launch incase there are issues with the hardware and you get a better selection of games.

Ps4 is still going strong for now. I still have ps3 and vita back catalog aswell lol

Wuchang is great. Nine Sols didn’t have a physical copy so I never played it but I’ve heard good things so I will check it out. I stopped playing sports games many years ago when before the card dlc’s or whatever they’re called.
