If i had to choose between m/k or controller for a racing game, i'd have to go with controller because you can partially press R2 for certain acceleration whereas with m/k it's just on/off with a button press.

It depends what you are used to. Though keyboard & mouse offer better aim with mouse... controller offers better over-all movement while suffering with aim due thumb stick use. I used to be a PC gamer and it was all well and fine but when I moved from PC to console gaming my preference has turned to controller. Halo is the game that really brought for me the enjoyment of FPS with controller. Things I can't stand today though are devs trying to use pointer mechanics for controls on console. Most annoying thing for me on recent generation games.

Use to be Mouse & Keyboard for me. Now, controller all the way.

Mouse + Keyboard = Easy/Scrub mode. Because of the high precision/ease of aim with a mouse, it takes minimal skill to aim with a mouse, thus at least IMO, leads to unsatisfying gameplay, especially with FPS games. "Got a headshot". No satisfaction in this as I am using a high precision device which is assisting this for me, making it easy.

Controller - Actually has a learning curve and you need quite a bit of skill and hand/eye coordination to aim well with a controller and getting headshots? Oh so satisfying. This is of course with auto aim disabled and aim assist turned all the way down.

The only con with this is the learning curve can be steep. I first remember playing a FPS with a controller and trying to aim and was like "How the hell do you expect me to aim with this". Now, it's just quite natural. It will never reach the peak in precision of a mouse, but it reaches a point where you can aim without too much effort and not to mention it's more rewarding.

Not to mention controller provides such much better immersion.

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.

Is this like the 10th quarter in a row they're down 33% on hardware how is that even mathematically possible. You would think their mediocrity would Plateau
