Pretty pictures aren't enough to make up for the miserable gameplay. Almost nothing else in this game even reaches the level of mediocrity. The Sonic levels are poorly laid out and have unresponsive controls, the werehog portions have monotonous combat and a wonky camera, and even the hub world is so difficult to navigate, you'll spend way too much time searching for the next level. There just isn't any fun to be had in Sonic Unleashed.
Sonic Unleashed on PC? The Sonic community managed to do just that with with the fan project "Sonic Unleashed Recompiled."
Actually the torrent is up and you do not need to own the 360 version of the game. Also it will never be taken down.
Nice, I found it on 1337x! I actually liked many parts of this game, but some parts are also shitty. Its uneven, but overall a decent game.
1337x is one of my favorite ever since the real RARBG went down. I usually only get from FitGirl or DODI.

Still remembered as one of the best Sonic games of all time, I believe it's time Sonic Unleashed gets its overdue remaster after Sonic x Shadow Generations.
I think it's best we leave these games we're they belong...in the past
Secret Rings, Unleashed, Black Knight etc, they weren't the best at least enough for a remaster
Generations is getting one because they had something easy to shove Shadow into before the Sonic 3 film and it's probably the better ones they've did over the past decade or so.

And when it comes to fan favourite zones in Sonic 3 (he mentioned Hydro City, Marble Garden and Launch Base), I'd replace Launch base and Marble Garden with Ice Cap zone. Never heard anyone refer to the others as favourites.
I sorta' stopped caring about this list when I saw Sonic Spinball (a genuinely great game) ranked lower than some of the noted atrocities.
Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed is still my favorite kart racer.
I've never really been able to play online tho. D:
Can't even play Team Sonic Racing online cause the servers are broken and don't queue people together.
P.S. This is such a random list. I really don't agree with it. Maybe this really is how they rank it but them just seems odd personally.

Granted Sonic Unleashed is not a great game by any means but a 3.5 is simply too low. i have played both version of the game and the level designs are fantastic and give you a sense of speed that has never before been present in any sonic game.
I cant figure out why there is so much hate for this game (granted the werehog is one of THE DUMBEST things i can think of) The sonic levels are simply fabulous, seems gamespot just hates the sonic series now. If memlry serves Sonic '06 was only .5 or 1 point lower in their review. and UNleashed is EASILY better then SOnic '06 (that game should have never been made, and everyone on the staff of that game kciked out of the industry)
hmmm well so much for hoping SEGA could have made a great Sonic game...
