Mass Effect: Legendary Edition | RPGFan

Mass Effect: Legendary Edition is a successful remaster well worth the price. Returning SPECTREs will enjoy it, with bells and whistles to accentuate it all.

The greatest remaster in the galaxy

Good fun so far. Pissing off politicians, military brass and mercenary groups never gets old

MadLad1843d ago (Edited 1843d ago )

That's a lot of content had, and the remaster, itself, is solid.

Has the gun play and movement in battle been tightened up at all or is it as the originals??

lonewolf101843d ago

Tightened up (only speaking for Mass Effect 1).

I'm still on ME1, but yes, the gunplay and overall controls are so much better.

nickanasty2061842d ago (Edited 1842d ago )

I am in shock how much better ME1 feels. Its like a new game with these updated control mechanics. I used to always tell new people to the IP, get through ME1 just for the story because the controls are truly clunky and you will be happy you did when you move on to ME2 and ME3. Now i don't have to say that at all.

I didn't grab the remasters yet. Does the combat in one just feel like the later releases?
The combat didn't feel fantastic in the original, but that was partly due to them basically taking the original Deus Ex route, where the shooting and aiming highly had to do with with your characters overall gun skills.
