Nintendo has announced Bandai Namco's Switch Online title PAC-MAN 99 will be shutting down on 8th October 2023.

However, as Big Brain Academy: Brain vs Brain and the Jackbox series highlight, there's a thirst for somewhat more cerebral quiz-based party games, especially in the streaming arena.
