Joey Marrazzo: Xbox has undergone a large overhaul since Phil Spencer took over in 2014 and it has paid off very well for the video game juggernaut.

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.

Spiders: "We're going to cut straight to the chase so you're not left wondering: After a long period without clear answers, we have received confirmation that Spiders is being liquidated.
What does it mean? This means the company as a whole no longer exists. We'll cease our functions immediately. The planned DLC will release via Nacon, and then-- well, that's it.
We're sorry that it's come to this and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years.
If you have any questions or run into issues with your games, please contact Nacon directly as we'll no longer be able to reply."
Umm..their Xbox One on place 3 long behind the PS4 and Switch + shrinking number of xbox exclusives paid off very well? rly?
"Changing" is the correct term here still. The fact that MS is playing a different strategy with its services by offering newer AAA's for 10 to 15$ is smart and very consumer friendly on their end. For me I wanna see those AAA first party from MS. I think that'll be the turning point for MS officially. AAA games that need to have a high critic rating.
Phil has changed console and services for the better, I agree but the games still remain.
I would have thought out the design on the Series S better and made it the same specs as the Series X minus the disc drive. Xbox as a whole just lacks the titles to drawn me in as a customer and buying a Series X you can ramble off all the titles you want but with out a solid release date they're nothing to hold my breath for. XB1 really lacked the titles where as the PS4 had titles dropping left right and center like flies. Only time will tell how Microsoft will handle the Zenimax purchase right now no one knows wtf is going on. All we get with the Zenimax purchase it little tidbits here and there as of right now PS5 first if I can find one. Then I will buy a Series X once I start to see titles that pique my interest with the Xbox hell I might not even buy a new Xbox I was not impressed with XB1 and it's lack of games.
Still need some kick ass first party games from Microsoft. That's been their issue for years. Thankfully their new studios will help in that regard. And no, I'm not talking about Bethesda. Bethesda games were coming whether MS owned them or not.
