Capcom reports Monster Hunter Wilds sold only 477K units in Q2 2025, as Monster Hunter Rise sales continue to grow unexpectedly.
Rise was on sale and wilds had performance issues. I think it speaks volumes to what consumers want.
I just forced myself to platinum MHW because I was so bored with its gameplay already. Its map is fixed, so you just do the same thing over and over again in each mission. It's not like HD2, where even after a year, we still don't get bored playing because the experience is different in each mission.

Hoooly smokes, that's a busy controller skin! I have the Daemon X Machina one which is almost the antithesis of this. Barely any branding, but I have to say I far prefer its simpler look. This looks kinda gaudy IMO.
