As with previous years, the “multifaceted rollout” in terms of sales for the Persona series and the Megami Tensei series include:

Pachislot and Pachinko Machines
Packaged Games
Digital Games
Toys, etc.

So did the games sell that much or combined with the above? Seems Total War hit 40 mill just on games, omitted from the headline though.

Expected much more sales considering how loyal and vocal the Persona fanbase is.

So Shin Megami Tensei has sold 34.5 million overall

Should start to gain even more now that 3/4/5 are on the Switch especially in Japan now, as well as the PC releases. Should have been done ages ago but better late than never.

I'm intentionally excluding Xbox from that because it's Xbox, it's not the place you go for if you want RPGs. Sales figures over the last 15+ years prove that.
