Agreed when it was episodic I refused to buy it until the Gold Edition was 80% off.

I bought Hitman 3 this week at full price because it rated so well. No regrets and perfectly worth it.

I feel the same way. What worked for Tell Tale until it didn't should never of been applied to AAA games. I remember at one point Square wanted to do that to the Deus Ex franchise. It's stupid. Capcom also did that with Revelations 2. I just waited until it was complete and cheap which didn't take long as Capcom always seems to have some kind of sale going on. Lol

Episodic is lame way to develop a title. It is a method that these lazy companies wanted to market to maximize the profit for less cost. Asking full price of $39.99 for a portion of game is crime toward the gaming industry and if it worked it would damaged it beyond repair. Thankfully it died immediately with telltale crap.

We have low quality standards already like DLCs, MTs, a month of patches and adjustments. (Sometimes more than a year like Cyperpunk *cough*)

HITMAN Freelancer Review, Agent 47 at His Very Best

ESTNN Wrties: "When Hitman's World of Assassination was revealed at E3 2015, IO Interactive probably didn't expect the Odyssey they would go on with this project. Over 8 years and 3 releases, IO Interactive went from being owned by Square Enix to being picked up and published by Warner, only to go independent with the final entry.

This sounds messy on paper, but IO Interactive also casually released the best stealth game ever made and one of the best titles of the past 10 years. While other franchises tried to be more accessible to wider audiences, the Hitman Trilogy doubled down and focused on the core strengths of the series while also being respectful of its own legacy."
