Following the troubled PC release of Hitman 3, Chris Evans from The Reticule shares his thoughts on why IO Interactive should have kept the Hitman World of Assassination series episodic.

HITMAN's new mission features DJ Dimitri Vegas as "The Drop," a unique character. Get ready for the beat of intrigue, action, and excitement

ESTNN Wrties: "When Hitman's World of Assassination was revealed at E3 2015, IO Interactive probably didn't expect the Odyssey they would go on with this project. Over 8 years and 3 releases, IO Interactive went from being owned by Square Enix to being picked up and published by Warner, only to go independent with the final entry.
This sounds messy on paper, but IO Interactive also casually released the best stealth game ever made and one of the best titles of the past 10 years. While other franchises tried to be more accessible to wider audiences, the Hitman Trilogy doubled down and focused on the core strengths of the series while also being respectful of its own legacy."

With the release of Freelancer Mode, Hitman: World of Assassination has added two paid DLC packs to the game: the Street Art Pack and the Makeshift Pack.
Are you OKAY?
Nope.
Episodic is lame way to develop a title. It is a method that these lazy companies wanted to market to maximize the profit for less cost. Asking full price of $39.99 for a portion of game is crime toward the gaming industry and if it worked it would damaged it beyond repair. Thankfully it died immediately with telltale crap.
We have low quality standards already like DLCs, MTs, a month of patches and adjustments. (Sometimes more than a year like Cyperpunk *cough*)
Dumb article. Not worth the click.
Wtf no.
