I do remember ps1 using a d-pad, face buttons exactly same as the snes, shoulder buttons, start and select exactly the same and named the same. I do remember Sony copying analogue stick from N64, rumble from N64 too.

It's a controller it will have a d pad whether first party or third party unless you go old school like Atari which uses paddles wheels and joy sticks. Secondly I don't classify the rumble pack and the Dualshock 1 as a copy you had to swap the rumble pack out PS1 had it built in the analog sticks might have been copied I classify the rumble pack as an accessory. But the analog sticks in the Dualshock 1 were a hell of a lot better then the shitty stick Nintendo used in the N64 controller. But every body copies from everybody else the Gamecube is using PS1 technology by using memory cards, the Dreamcast and original Xbox copied the 4 controller ports the N64 had the original Xbox copied the controller slot technology off the Dreamcast. Hell Nintendo copied the same shape as an XB1 controller for their Switch Pro controllers so did Stadia only thing different is the stick placement and the button lay out. Sony copied the move controller to act like the Wii Nunchuck minus the cord and PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale to copy Smash Bros. But then you have those other games that have copied Mario Kart every body copies everybody else. Everybody else copied Sega when Sega had online play with the Dreamcast Microsoft copied it and made it better then Sony jumped on board. Sega copied Nintendo and went into the hand held market with the Game Gear then it became dominated by Nintendo. But I don't remember Nintendo reverse engineering the PSP and use that tech on the Game boy Advance.

God of War, Uncharted, Horizon Zero Dawn, Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter, Sly Cooper, Days Gone, Spiderman, Resistance, The Last of Us, Ghost of Tsushima, all beg to differ unlike Nintendo that sticks to the same wash cycle their games are fun. Sony pushed the boundaries with their titles and their titles are worth playing the in house studios Sony have know the machines and make breath taking games.

Cant you tell with all the Mario like games Sony has? And how they only keep pushing the same couple franchises? /s

PS1 controller was a snes controller in the early 90’s. D-pad, face buttons exactly the same location, shoulder buttons. Start and select buttons, literally named exactly the same.

PS2 copied rumble and analogue stick from N64 in the 2000’s.

PS3 copied and failed Wii remotes with the PS Move in the 2010’s.

Not to mention all the games they copy (Astro Mario Bot)

The PS2 never copied the thumb sticks from the N64 the PS2 came out after the N64 with the Dual Shock 2 the Dual Shock 1 is the first PS1 controller with the thumb sticks the N64 borrowed the thumb stick idea from the NES Max Controller which was then borrowed by the Sega Saturn 3D controller. As far as I know Sony only copied one game that was Smash Bros with PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. You seem to forget about all the other games that copied Mario Kart because it was a fad and people wanted to cash in. It's no different then a new battle royal game copying Fortnite in some way.

You obviously are a teeny bopper and don’t realise that i meant they copied everything from the Snes controller. If you were not such a teeny bopper you could google this. And they are facts.
