Sony is dominating the top 10 sales chart in 2020 according to a report by NPD. They have four out of ten games in the top sellers which are PS4 exclusives.
These are hard times so people care about value. When games are of the highest standard that's the best value of all, so people will go out and pay for them.
One company keep touting gamepass and backwards compatibility while the other keep releasing amazing AAA games that are breaking sales records
Yet some people think Sony needs to compete with gamepass let me know when Ms makes the same quality games as Sony
A quality game would be a start ok they’ve got a couple but yeah seriously cannot agree more. If it was Sony’s service I’d happily subscribe 4 top games a year minimum jobs a goodun. I’m being genuinely honest (to myself here) I’d struggle to find 4 all gen from Xbox. To be fair I owned one for 4 months smashed quantum break and FH3 gears 4 halo collection so FH4 and Gears 5 other than that and i wouldn’t buy a brand new console for those so it’s a waiting game. Prob in a couple years once they’ve got a nice little library of quality games it’s all well and good having this subscription service but if it’s over reliant on BC 3rd party and EA (ok 3rd but still) these games can be obtained anywhere they need top quality games (I cannot get elsewhere) day1 then it’s brilliant service this whole we release games day1 on gamepass. Fantastic but your not releasing games so it’s a moot point for me.
Cardi B has more views than Elvis or the Beatles. I don't go by numbers alone. If a game is high quality but isn't as popular, there's no shame in enjoying it.

They also have quality for years ;) they not like a fifa where it’s outdated in 12-24 months I still go back and play nes SNES games and some are still as good now as they were then and better than some of the stuff that releases these days.
It is a really good game tho I had it on Wii U and I’ve not port all the other ports donkey kong etc doubt I’ll get pikmin day1 and not overly fussed on 3D world (I owned a Wii U) but mario kart 8 got some serious hours out of me on launch and I’d happily go back for more they really made a great Mario kart with 8 and absolutely deserved another chance.

With Gamepass I'll doubt we'll ever see many MS titles on lists like these again tbh. Even ignoring Gamepass, MS hasn't really even released any big 2020 games.
the outselling isnt the important take from this list. It's the quality of the exclusives that I take out of it.
No matter how many studios MS buys it wont matter if they dont create quality games.
But its the outselling that will continously afford sony to give us these great games.

Yes indeed. PS5 will have the games, actual exclusive games, not just a lot, but the quality of most of those exclusive games across the board will be out of this world, as the record has shown for generations with their best in the world studios not resting for the same old experiences again and again.

Well yeah we all know that lol and Microsoft let their foot off the Xbox gas pedal bringing all their exclusives to PC so they really have no chance TBH. I think they know PS brand cant be touched and are just focusing on game delivery but they still need way more games on their side to compete still.
Even going after game delivery seems like a lost cause. They can say all they want they don't care about console sales but when the overwhelming majority of subs come from xbox console owners how can they not care. Just baffles me. I dont see a mass amount of pc players eager to sub to a service basically for 1st party games since the older games on the service are more than likely to already been purchased and played.
I don’t think the PC is even an issue Sony bring theirs and it didn’t hurt them maybe as there is normally a couple of years before it happens but I genuinely for me anyway think it’s just down to the quality of the product people moan oh Nintendo get away with this and that but generally the base game and the actual thing they release is top notch just might have a few odd design choices or whatever there is a reason their games consistently score solid 9-10/10 and it’s not media bias it’s just pure and simple good old top quality. Not everything sure but there is a reason their games clear 10 million more often than not and sure there are millions of fans from various franchises but they don’t just buy each and every game I sure don’t. Hence I never purchased animal crossing amiibo festivals or whatever it was called 😑🥴😂✌&# 127995;😜

It most definitely will. That’s the magic of PlayStation. PS4’s been an absolutely unforgettable & amazing generation! My personal favorite, not just for the games, but to share them with my own family, it’s on a greater level, it’s just truly priceless.
Yea its actually amazing to me. My wife usually sits and plays on her phone but with gow, spiderman, and deaths stranding got and last of us 2 she actually got into the story and really watched me play.

I love to hear this, genuinely buddy! It’s one thing to sit and watch a tv show/movie (as a couple or being married) but to have the wife or husband show interest in the game you’re currently playing and to sit and watch you play, ask questions, get attached like you do & just genuinely enjoy that or play as well in time, it’s on an entirely different level, I think.
