Personally had no issues on my XSX (20 hours game time so far)

Hope theres some stability patches put in for the affected people.

DaleCooper2001d ago (Edited 2001d ago )

It is strange. No issues for me either (in fact not one crash on my XSX at all). Although we see these types of articles for all new systems after they launch - where every minor glitch and bug is made into a big deal.

Rude-ro2001d ago

Although you are correct...
Cod is not the only game gamers are having said issue. Destiny 2 is seeing crashing as well on xsx.

It is not a “big deal” and will be fixed... but it is a source of information so that these issues get resolved.
Silence is consent if you know what I mean.

Everyone on n4g always has “no issue”... but it does not change the fact.
The complaints come from sources on forums.

Dabigsiebowski2001d ago

Doom Eternal crashed on me back to the home menu after sound jitters and screen lock. Halo MCC seems to make my xsx act a little finicky with unresponsive menus. Fix is to hard reboot the Xbox which sucks but fixes it. Loving the console with gamepass though and I cannot wait to get a ps5 soon enough as well.

pingthing2001d ago

Not the best Cod game, and pretty greedy to charge extra for a so called next gen upgrade. See you in the Christmas sales Cold War.

Father__Merrin2001d ago

Skipped last years COD but this is an excellent title

cell9892001d ago

Last years was better IMO

UnSelf2001d ago

Much much better. I’ll be skipping this one

mafiahajeri2001d ago

You skipped the wrong one man, best COD in years

Father__Merrin2001d ago

Tried it when it first released that weekend trial thing couldn't get into it. Might grab it when on offer just to plough through campaign

moriarty18892001d ago

no issues for me. close to 20 hours into the campaign. looks and plays beautifully.

SPEAKxTHExTRUTH2001d ago

I haven't had a single crash on my series X yet but I've had 2 on my ps5 so far.

TheRealHeisenberg2000d ago

Sticking your head in the sand because it hasn't happened to you yet maybe?

https://www.t3.com/us/news/...

https://www.laptopmag.com/n...

There are more out there and it is happening X Series too.

SPEAKxTHExTRUTH2000d ago

So I guess all the videos on YouTube SHOWING their ps5 having issues are a lie too? Lol you fan boys are in such denial.

medman2001d ago (Edited 2001d ago )

@speakxthextruth
Your words belie your username.

I'm going to assume you're still smashing buttons on an xbox one controller, and have neither ps5 or series x. Having said that, if you did manage to secure both at launch, congrats....I got a ps5, but my series x never shipped from Amazon. Hoping to get it in the next few weeks, but we will see. The ps5 has run flawlessly for me so far, knock on wood.....

SPEAKxTHExTRUTH2000d ago (Edited 2000d ago )

You would assume wrong. I own a ps5 and a series x can you say the same? I'm a grown man and I have ZERO reason to lie about owning a console. Who does that? Only on n4g. Tell u what send me your gamer tag and ill send you a friend request. Let's see who really has a ps5 and a series x. Hope I see a vertical console next to your gamer tag....

medman2000d ago

@speakxthextruth
Why would I send you a thing? Unlike you, I have no need to "prove" anything, certainly not to the likes of you. Your comment is typical for your kind....lots of hot air, very little substance. If you had the capacity to read and understand what you read, you wouldn't be saying "let's see who really has a ps5 and a series x", as I clearly stated what I had in my comment. What a numbskull. Good luck with that.

Black ops 4, because it was the last cod of duty I was able to dominate with a +2 k/d ratio. Before all the freaking cheating started to happen. It was nice catching people off guard and shooting at them first and getting the kill. Unlike now, where I shoot people first, but they gun me down with less hits, less time, literally feels like they can kill me in a split second. At times, they are able to run away after me shooting them way more than necessary, yet, the second I'm spotted, I'm dead, there's no me running away to cover. They can do cartwheels, summersaults, backflips and gun you down perfectly. They can shoot you across the map with perfect accuracy. They can jump around like morons and gun you down without even having to correct their aim. They have superman split second perfect reactions. That's the best way to describe it, everything they do is spot on perfect. They can spam and spray (no praying) their gun from far away, because they have no recoil or bullet spread. It always feels like I have to aim and also correct my aim when moving around, while these pricks don't have to do the same.

And yes, I know how to play fps games. I dominated many fps games like: Resistance 1&2, kz 2&3, Socom, MAG, Crysis, Gotham City Impostors, blitz brigade etc. all with 2-4 k/d ratio. Kz2 (lag input controls) and resistance (no aim assist in resistance) being the hardest and were the games I reached either close to a 3 k/d ratio or above.

I truly got to enjoy blacks ops 4 and got my money's worth out of it. Afterwords, I would either stop playing cod games after a while, because of the cheating, or would skip buying cod games for a year or two before buying another.

Another great month imo. The COD campaign on this one was great fun. I've never played Alan Wake, so a PS5 version of that is a perfect way to prepare for the next one...

taurul1048d ago

You're in for a treat with Alan Wake. It still holds after so many years.
For me it's the best psychological thriller I've ever played that is not Silent Hill.
Alan Wake 2 is my most wished sequel of all time, waiting for it since 2010...

bloop1047d ago (Edited 1047d ago )

Sweet!! I never got around to playing it on the 360 but always wanted to. Looking forward to next month!!

Crows901047d ago

Agreed. You see I'm surprised that Microsoft hasn't bought remedy...of all the studios in their list....I'd assume remedy would be an obvious based on real actual relationships.

I liked Alan Wake and am super excited for Alan Wake 2. Hopefully turns out great ..I've actually liked ALL of their games including quantum break...except for the TV show part.

Christopher1048d ago

I've never bought a CoD game, but now due to PS+, I 'rent' like 8 of them or so. I played one a few times with my nephews. Still not my cup of tea. But, it's interesting to see how many CoD games PS+ can throw at me.

LG_Fox_Brazil1048d ago

Pretty damn good, I almost bought Alan Wake last month, glad I held my wallet

REDGUM1048d ago

I picked up my copy of it 2nd hand just last Saturday. agghhh. If only I had waited just a little more longer.

Knushwood Butt1048d ago

Me too, it's been on my wishlist for months. Glad I held out!

Elda1048d ago

A pass for me due to playing Cold War & Alan Wake already.

phoenixwing1048d ago

Glad I didn't buy cold war or Alan wake. Now I can enjoy them for the stories

Kassanova071048d ago

I was curious about both. Great timing!
