Here's why Fallout 76 is finally worth playing

Fallout 76 has built on the universe's strengths, fixed some of its missteps, and crafted an experience that should be satisfying to many Fallout fans. Here is why, after over two years, Fallout 76 is finally worth playing.

MadLad2028d ago

It's actually a pretty decent experience nowadays. Hell, after Wastelanders, it felt more like a real Fallout experience to me than a lot of Fallout 4, honestly.

East76lands2028d ago

Definitely, you can play it as a proper single player experience now.

TheColbertinator2028d ago

I've moved on. Bring on Starfield or whatever it is called

-Foxtrot2028d ago

Not really, it's still pretty shit to the point Fallout 4 is still better

It's better than it was before...but that wouldn't take much considering how bad it was at launch

MadLad2028d ago

Included a solid conversation system. Offers multiple chances for player agency in missions. Improved the base management over Fallout 4.

Just saying "no" isn't a point.
There's literally more roleplaying potential in 76, which was my point.

Lol
18 dislikes.

Sorry for throwing it out to people who have been s******g on it since day one; whether or not they tried it since some major updates.

Ryushaa2027d ago

Is fallout first still a thing? The microtransactions still sell items/mechanics that give an advantage to the player? If yes, then still is not worthy to play

I would be willing to give it a shot if they got rid of all the survival crap with needing to eat and drink every time I walk 200 yards down the road.

I would suggest skipping it unless you really have nothing else to play.

MadLad2028d ago

Had on Gamepass, so no reason for people not to give it a shot. It's a much better experience than it was at launch.

dumahim2028d ago

That's a pretty low bar to reach for.

MadLad2028d ago

@dum

Well it's actually a pretty solid time now, despite how broken it was at launch.
This site gives all the credit in the world to games like No Man's Sky, despite that being an outright lie of a product.

This or Sea of Thieves though? Not a chance. I wonder why. Hmm.

I'd rather say, if you're a Fallout fan but were disappointed with the initial launch offering, now its in a better state and might offer something similar to the Fallout experience a fan might expect.

East76lands2028d ago

In current form it's a lot better than Fallout 4 ever was, I think anyone coming into the game now who missed all the early problems would enjoy it.

East76lands2028d ago

If you're judging it from day one you should maybe go and give it another go, the inclusion of human npc's and story missions really altered the experience.

AnotherGamer2028d ago

After how long and broken the game was? nah.

Zombieburger6382028d ago

I dont understand how people can support this game after all the shady shit the devs pulled and it being an unplayable mess for most of its life.
