Review: Bright Memory | Destructoid

Chris Carter: "Bright Memory has the potential to be great once Infinite arrives, but for now, it gets a very light recommendation with some provisos. It's not technically impressive even as a Series X launch title, but Bright Memory is worth pursuing either way if you grew up on classic action romps."

Still interested in this and despite its short length I may try out it

Lmao! Boy these XSX launch titles sure are amazing!

How do you know? I haven't seen the first review of Godfall yet.

Edit: Nevermind! LOL! Yeah Godfall is about what I thought it would be. Glad I didn't preorder it.

What Remains of Edith Finch is brilliant. I would also add Inside to this list.

VGChartz's Lee Mehr: "Before starting Bright Memory, I appreciated the growing democratization of the game developer scene and respected what the next-gen tools can accomplish for a solo developer; after playing it, I still held said thoughts... and didn't like the game. It's one of those quintessential examples of an effective shooting/hack-n-slash rhythm being consistently interrupted by technical frustrations, design mishaps, and FYQD deciding to overcharge for a glorified tech demo."
