Not hating or anything but on a side note, they're not loading the same mission and the assets might not be as heavy / light for each level. (PS5 is loading Nero M13, PS4 loads M2 and the others load Dante's M13)

I dont think people realize how important this one feature is. Im old enough to remember cartridge systems and their instant loading times. We lost that once the cdrom became the standard. This alone is reason enough to upgrade your consoles.

Intense:

PS5 loading time – 2 seconds
PC loading time – 11 seconds
Xbox One X loading time – 17 seconds
PS4 loading time – 22 seconds

For people who are wondering, the PC loading footage comes from a streamer called FightinCowboy (he flexes a high-end PC with Samsung 970 Evo 2 TB Gen 3.0 SSD 3.5GB/s, arguably the best Gen 3.0 NVMe SSD available).

From what we know of current H/W, I think it's safe to predict that PS5 will be significantly faster than the rest. Yes, faster NVMe drives are becoming available for PC that match or even exceed PS5 speeds. However, PS5 I/O includes features that PC doesn't. So until PC NVMe drives become much, much, faster and can brute force it,PS5 should win out. Although, having said that, PCIe ver 5.0 is on the horizon, and that could change things, but not in the short to medium term.

As for SX. Yeah, that's not gonna get close in my estimation, at least based on native harware speeds alone. Expect to see, only half to quarter of the speed of PS5,that would be my guess. Of course, first party titles may differ based on optimization, but generally, for third party games that leave loading to the hardware then PS5 should be faster. All this, with one enormous caveat -EA, unskippable ads!

So, I either upgrade a rig or get a PS5.

Well regardless this is a good thing and cannot wait for my ps5. Everything runs super fast brand new at the beginning but when the updates and 30 games installed rolls up thats when the true test shows.

One of my rigs has a Samsung 960 Pro 512GB NVME 4 years old... yes, FOUR YEARS OLD and working perfectly, that is rated 3,5 GB/S uncompressed transfers (more or less what Xbox Series will offer).
What about compare a brand new NVME unit on a PCIe 4.0 controller? They are around 8GB/s uncompressed...

I already own DMC and DBZ, and I also already played Back 4 Blood on Game Pass, but I'm very glad they included Sayonara Wild Hearts, I've been waiting to play that game forever.

Back 4 Blood is a great time, and DMC 5 is DMC 5. I'm also a big fan of the original Life is Strange, but it's weird they didn't get the remastered versions.

Interesting selection, I have to wonder if game companies have a list of their games they give to MS/Sony that they can put on their sub services. because I'm noticing a lot of the PS games are games that have already been on Game Pass.

I hope it being on PS+ means avalanche will patch the 720p glitch when playing on ps5. For some reason when running in BC on os5 JC4s dynamic resolution defaults to 720p and never budges.
