The Australian Xbox.com web site has revealed the release date for Mass Effect in the Land Downunder. According the product's web page, Mass Effect will launch down there on May 18, 2007. We don't expect this title to arrive earlier on any territory before it hits North American retailers, so this Australian release date confirms that we can expect this UE3-powered action role-playing game before the four week of May.
Bioware writes: "Like you, we’ve heard the rumors lately. You’ve made it clear you care deeply about what’s next. So let’s start by setting the record straight: the next Mass Effect game is in development, and EA and BioWare remain committed to telling more stories in this universe."
I expected nothing and I'm still disappointed
Like with Fallout, it's starting to feel studios are using TV / Film adaptations when they have no game info to talk about.
I feel the same way.
I mean, how difficult would it be for them to release SOMETHING of substance? Another short trailer? A couple of proper hints? A short story set during the original trilogy, but focused on fringe characters?
Hopefully they're working so hard on the game that they don't have time. But still, with every passing year and so little to show, the franchise will be slipping further and further from people's minds.
Yeah agree it's almost a cop out since Dev times are 5 to 10 years just throw out a few seasons instead you get them done in a year

sounds extremely reasonable but why would they only date Australia and I have seen problems with dates on that xbox site before so who knows...but man Forza 2 and Mass Effect in May would be a killer sales month for Microsoft, atleast 5 million, 2.5 a peice
theys not that much info on forza 2 and mass effect. mass effect could flop . they should give it more time and they saying that it will be on one disc only this games going to be to short if it on one i hope it on 3 or 4 disc that will be 36 gigs
the KOTOR series this game will definitely not be a flop.
The games release date is still unknown for now. Trust me this game will be at least 50+ hours. : )
