I have a ship which I believe is nowhere to be found on the games wiki and I have no idea which station I picked it up from.

This update is huuuuge wtf. Its an overhaul of everything.

This game just keeps on giving.

demonseye1941d ago

question do you need to start over or does the update work on old saves aswel?

SullysCigar1941d ago

Previous massive updates have worked with old saves.

Can't wait to get the PSVR on and check out all these new goodies they've added!!

TheScotsman1941d ago

Works fine I'm using it now

TheScotsman1941d ago

Great publisher who got serious abuse from internet A holes, but still they carried on regardless and with every update they give us more and more, yet there are still some dead beats that can't let the launch go.

Well done Hello Games we love the world you have created

The initial backlash was deserved but they have definitely made up for it.

Yea this game is way too huge at this point lol keep em coming tho.

roadkillers1941d ago

I thought they stopped updating months ago. Okay guys, you made your point, please start developing your next game before you go out of business from lack of income. Joe Danger 3?

BillyG0AT1941d ago

What they've done with this game with this and the Beyond update is incredible. I'm gonna hold off on getting back into it for now and enjoy it on next gen so I have something fresh to play until the next gen games start to release. Hopefully we get a next gen upgrade!
The multiplayer has always been a bit finicky for me so I hope that gets sorted too. Love taking over a planet with a mate and building race tracks and stuff.

BillyG0AT1941d ago

Hopefully should be able to play the PS4 version through back compat. No idea though

SullysCigar1941d ago

Well Sony have confirmed 99% of PS4 games are backwards compatible on PS5, including PSVR and it's games. I get you though, Shane, you want to know if they're going to give it a next gen make over - I really hope so, because I already play for hours in VR and this would be a huge bonus!

Outlawzz1940d ago

Well considering how much stuff they've added you could play now and play next gen and you still won't cover it all lol I just started a week ago with psvr and it is seriously gna take some time to do anything lol

No Man's Sky boss "so happy" as sim celebrates highest Steam player count since launch

We've all heard the No Man's Sky story by now: controversial launch followed by, as commenters often put it, the greatest redemption arc in the history of gaming. Somewhat remarkably, developer Hello Games' exploratory space sim has now received almost forty major updates since its launch in 2016, all helping No Man's Sky turn its initial "Overwhelmingly Negative" rating into "Very Positive" on Steam. But earlier this week, shortly after the arrival of its Voyagers update, No Man's Sky hit another incredible milestone, reaching its highest Steam player count since its launch nine years ago.

Wish other devs supported their games for thos long. There really isn't any excuse for an indie dev to be able to do all this free, but aaa studios cant even fix their games before dropping support.

Darkegg135d ago

The definition for what’s worth what money, aaa has defined that thirst much bigger than ever. And it’s a vicious cycle of wanting more for the work. Their perception of money value has been skewed towards greed, and they justify it so. We no longer have gamers who create games. We have businessmen. I kind of lost the game flavor. I don’t see much interest these days. I just see lots of micro transactions for digital things that are overvalued.
