The Monster Hunter series thrived on 3DS, but hasn’t seen much action on Switch. Aside from an enhanced port of Monster Hunter Generations, Capcom hasn’t done much with the franchise on Nintendo’s latest system. However, that’s about to change. During today’s Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase, Capcom announced Monster Hunter Rise for Switch.

Improve your swing on the green in PGA Tour 2K25, seek out adventure in Monster Hunter Rise, enjoy a mix of farm sim meets first-person adventure with Slime Rancher 2, and explore a massive multiplayer fantasy world in The Elder Scrolls Online. All these titles will be available to PlayStation Plus members from Tuesday March 3 until Monday April 6.

Capcom reports Monster Hunter Wilds sold only 477K units in Q2 2025, as Monster Hunter Rise sales continue to grow unexpectedly.
Rise was on sale and wilds had performance issues. I think it speaks volumes to what consumers want.

Fanatical is back with a new bundle, and this time, they're offering two Monster Hunter games and some extra content for a small price.
OMG
Love it
I can't wait for this game. I'm so glad to see them go back to the older style of games. I really hope it turns out well.
Looks fantastic.
Nice graphics for the Switch as well.
ewwww. manhunt should completely ditch Nintendo's shit hardware. MHWorld is a stunner, going back to subHD again is gonna be jarring.
