The new Dying Light 2 update is finally here, transforming the zombie FPS into a brutal roguelike that you can try for yourself right now.
I did an interview with them and saw the game at E3. I said at the time it looks Next Gen. I think the game is coming for Next Gen and PC. I asked about Next Gen in the interview and they were vague. People forget that when the game came out they had it for the new Gen and planned to make it for the prior as well but were not able to make that work. The game moves very fast and I think they realized that the power of the new systems is a better option.
Finally some life on this topic.
They probably had a lot of problems making it run on current-gen consoles & now it's probably a next-gen title.
