I noticed that there was "supposed" to be a discussion on the issue this month, and seeing NO information has come out about it, seems it will not happen - yet again.

It's ludicrous that one many can hold an entire nation to ransom due to his beliefs, and he's not even the elected Prime Minister, just a simple State Attorney who 'seems' to have more power than the PM. It must make him feel especially important and powerful.

i wish they would give the Australian game community CHOICE!, give us the r18 as it deserves it, and we will be all happy!

His comments and position are based on assumptions, he is treating the Australian public like children. With the average age of the Australian gamer now 30, the rating system is ludicrous.

I guess with Fear though, as its a PC game.. if players really want to play it... they will.....

not saying thats me.. i didn't like FEAR 1.. but yeah it wont be stopping the game getting into australian gamers hands thats for sure.

The Australian OFLC is so far behind the rest of the world it's a crying shame, and makes its self a laughing stock within the major world leaders. They still rate games as if they were for 'children' with the excuse they are protecting the children, when in fact, they already allow 'minors' to see both movies and games which have been rated as matur or adult (anything over 18) across the rest of the developed world.

Movies that are rate 18+ or 18 or even Mature in the US are rated MA15+ here, which means Lesbian scenes and both male and female gay movies, high graphic deplictions of violence, coarse language and horror are "legally" available to a plus anyone 15 yrs old and over. When they SHOULD be restricted to 18 yrs and over.

There was 'supposed' t be an official white paper discussion with public input in November, hello, it's almost the end of November, and no news of said meeting and discussion has taken place. Keep the public in the dark and pass motions and bills while they are not informed. Does that sound like a democratic society - not bloody likely.

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.
