Or the alien hackers from outer space sent a destructive virus that crumbles the infrastructure of the internet in a matter of seconds. Devastating disasters like this could come in more mundane forms as well. Maybe your parents turn off your service or you are going on a trip to a remote, Wi-Fi-less destination.
