GG:
Puzzle-Horror games; one of my favourite genres. Outlast, Amnesia, Doorways (only the first one, though). More and more devs are picking up on this small corner of games that hit big. The most recent in the line of these games is Astray. After being disappointed, however, with my recent time with similar games (Daylight and Doorways Chapter 3: The Underworld), I approached Astray with skeptical thoughts in mind, believing it would follow the same fate as them.

Duuro says:"Hopefully the developers could use this as the building blocks for something that much better down the road. It's easy to see they have down the basics for creating a solid survival horror experience. But whether it be just lack of experience, or even the manpower needed to realize it, what they have on offer is a rather flat experience that simply doesn't live up to the titles that popularized the series as of recent. I do hope they give this a second shot though. I certainly see potential here, especially if they manage to add the needed talent to the team.
Until then, however, we have Astray and, eh, it's a game."

VRFocus - Back in September 2014 VRFocus reported on the launch of a Steam Greenlight campaign for an upcoming horror videogame named Astray. At the time developer Aegon Games had said that it hoped to include support for the Oculus Rift virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD) in the title for launch. This month the developer has not only passed its Greenlight campaign but confirmed that VR support will indeed be included.
