And now, DS gamers have a good reason to fear the swirling vortex of mother nature's Dyson vacuum as well. Tornado had the potential to blow us away, but tedious missions and some really broken design choices instead suck the life out of the whole adventure".
From the review: "In Tornado, you play as cats who create, you guessed it, tornadoes. These cats are a part of the Cleanup Crew, who use tornadoes to clean up stuff and fling it into space.. A mysterious person, known only as Prince, used his Black Hole Device to steal everything on Earth and transported it to Planet 69. And since they were working on Earth, he also ended up transporting the Cleanup Crew too."
In Tornado you set out to restore all of Earth's buildings, vehicles, inhabitants and other obscure objects that have been stolen by the envious Prince using his mischievous "Black Hole Device."
With a pack of cool characters, multiplayer challenges and a fun twist on gaming action, Tornado has potential. Unfortunately, a fistfull of frustrating issues knock the A+ fun-factor out of it, but once you get the hang of things it's a decent game that can get you hooked. Plus, riding a tornado through downtown and sending buildings flying as you pitch lightning at King Kong = awesome!
