With four months at most until the ninth generation of consoles gets underway, there are still a number of important questions floating around that both Sony and Microsoft still need to address before fans can have a greater sense of confidence that their substantial purchases will be justified for the launch and beyond.

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.

All available May 5.
I think the only game here for me is Nine Sols. Was always interested in that game.
Good month for me, I wanted that particular footy game and thought it might be due. Anyway who cares, shame about the site I'll miss the comment sections. All the best everyone.
#2 No. PS3 games can't be supported, PS1/2 games would require digital encapsulation and that's thousands of games where most popular have gotten ports to PS4 or similar. Expect PS Now to be the PS3 support, for now, other than remasters. Expect PS1/2 game support to be up to the publishers and you will have to rebuy them.
#3 November. Halo Infinite.
#4 Yes.

Another big question is:
Will Sony stop censoring Japanese games coming to the West?
I can't believe that Persona 5 Royal in the West had a few minor changes to a scene. Sony and other companies need to understand that censoring anything in these games is wrong. We never need these companies trying to act like our parent. Consumers will always decide if they want to buy the game or not.
Can someone enlighten me what the big deal about backwards capability is? I love my classic PS1 and 2 games and as much as it sucks I may never get to play some of those games ever again that's OK. Life is short and there's only so many hours in a day and there's more than enough fantastic games coming to next gen to everyone entertained.
