Xbox fans have been hyped for today's Xbox Games Showcase. It is no secret that Xbox spent the entirety of this generation behind PlayStation.

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.

Spiders: "We're going to cut straight to the chase so you're not left wondering: After a long period without clear answers, we have received confirmation that Spiders is being liquidated.
What does it mean? This means the company as a whole no longer exists. We'll cease our functions immediately. The planned DLC will release via Nacon, and then-- well, that's it.
We're sorry that it's come to this and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years.
If you have any questions or run into issues with your games, please contact Nacon directly as we'll no longer be able to reply."
I liked it! they showed a good selection of games and they are all coming to gamepass . Awesome
It was a public embarrassment, I don't know how they have the front to proudly show all that dross.
If gamepass is all thats important then yes fine, very good.
But there was nothing here to demonstrate the power of the 12TF Series X, certainly nothing on show to consider upgrading beyond a Xbox One X anyway (buy'em quick folks, they've stopped making them now).
I was expecting a real technical showcase, especially with the flagship game Halo Infinite, and it seriously wasn't.
A real chance to whack Sony and get people talking, and instead it got people massively riled up and dissappointed again with the classic smoke and mirrors of MS (perhaps MS stands for Mirrors & Smoke).
To add insult to injury, Halo Infinite was hinted at being a GaaS (10 year plan, smaller more often updates, sound familiar), was apparently actually shown on PC rather then XSX (for the love of God, why MS??) and Hellblade 2 went AWOL with a little documentary about Icelandic landscape showing up instead.
If you liked it then good for you, and remember to say "Gamepass" three times every night before you go to sleep, just for reassurance.
Not great, but It was a solid show from Microsoft.
People wanted extended gameplay and got more trailers with 5 to 7 secs of gameplay
And they still are....
