Sean Keane from CNET writes: "Going into a game with little clue what to expect and getting utterly sucked in is one of life's joys. So when I loaded PS4 exclusive Ghost of Tsushima (which hits shelves Friday) for the first time and saw the option to play in "Kurosawa Mode" -- a black-and-white filter with Japanese voice acting and English subtitles -- I knew this game was legit."
A new comparison video shows Ghost of Yotei making major graphical strides over Ghost of Tsushima, with sharper visuals and improved performance.
The trailers didn’t do justice. This game looks phenomenal and having a ray tracing mode at 60fps on PS5 Pro is a treat. Much better than stutter engine 5.
Both look good but i don't see a major visual leap. At least not from those videos.
Hm nope. Absolutely not worth giving my 70$ IMO. Especially not for another girl boss revenge story. I swear man they don't know what else to write for women when they put them in these more grounded roles/games.
Absolutely buying this. Not skipping good games just to stand on some flimsy soapbox.

Featuring characters from The Last of Us, God of War, Ghost of Tsushima, Horizon Forbidden West, and more.
yeah, they're gonna overprice it so only 0.5% of the playerbase can buy it. The spiderman packs cost like 650 for 12 packs or something, on top of spiderman not fitting into mtg at all. Most of current PS characters don't fit either.

Franchise Rewards launches with commemorative merchandise celebrating your in-game achievements.
As I started reading I thought wow they finally listened. Unlock trophies and gain physical awards.
But then I realised it's unlock trophy to have the option to purchase a physical item.
Scalpers paradise. Like the Astro Bot controller, retails for around £75, but sells for over £100 used? The gold Ghost of Yotei controller retails for £75 also, but the black version is only available from Sony for the same price.
"This is just the start. Ghost of Yotei Rewards will arrive later this year"
So, pretty much what Destiny does.
So you unlock trophies which gives you the opportunity to give them more money?
This sounds so stupid
"Sneaking around Mongol outposts and quietly offing enemies seemed the most in keeping with Jin's character as he became Tsushima Island's murderous Batman."
Ha ha what a great comment.
Funny, I saw a youtube video from CNET earlier today titled "Why you should pass on Ghost of Tsushima" So CNET has both a positive and negative review of the game, well played.
