Kotick Made $155 million from MS in the buyout, the little b*tch needs to stop whining. Thanks to this Microslop deal and massive industry consolidation thousands upon thousands of devs and other workers lost their livelihoods. This greedy piggie pervert needs shut up and f-off.

Larry writes: "As many of you have been with me during my career in gaming, I'd like to share personal news. Like many in the gaming space recently, I've been laid off from @Unity"
That’s some major layoffs best of luck to him and the rest that got laid off. It always hurt specially more before or during holidays.
Met Larry a couple times. Sucks to hear he got laid off. Real standup guy who just loves gaming and the industry.
Dude finally got laid at 58 years old. Bit of a weird flex but im still happy for the guy!🥂

"We see DRM as something which can make the life of a legal customer more difficult," says Michał Kiciński, "so there is no reason to keep it alive."
Fake title. No it isnt. If BC was that important, Microsoft would have ruled this gen... If BC was that important everybody would be playing on PC and there were zero consoles. BC is a feature and nothing more. And news about the amount of time gamers use it..... well. They try to spin it.... but....
I feel like MS is more a or less trying to make a bigger feature than it is. Less than 10% of users ever used it on Xbox One and MS knows this and is trying to make it a bigger platform to win on. The only issue is that most people buy a console to experience the games made for the console. We have already seen what games can look like from PS5 reveal when designed for the console. I will admit having the best version of any game is a nice thing that I hope Sony does as much as they can.
Cool I'll just stick to my XB1X for BC from the 6th and 7th gen and buy a PS5 for newer games and BC for PS4 exclusives then.
I can’t tell whether they are stressing BC since they had to invest in it this past gen in order to keep pace with PS4’s first party support on SOME level... or if they are stressing BC because they are expecting to STILL lag behind PS5’s first party support.
I hope it’s the former, but MS never showed me how the Azura network (aka POWER of teh CLOOD) benefitted me. So, I’m expecting all of this BC hype is just MS trying to hide their own lack of trust in their first party support next gen (they have just as many studios as Sony, but their track records do not compare YET).
Prove me wrong 343. The Halo Infinite reveal in July is gonna decide everything
People seem to hate options it seems. You'd rather pay to play games you already own on previous consoles, that's fine, but I prefer not to.
