Now I gotta get me a good HOTAS

Phoenix762172d ago

Thrustmaster HOTAS is the most popular set up. I have 1 for Elite Dangerous and other flight sims

Disney must have put the boot down after the Battlefront II fiasco. Or they're doing an Activision and will just add them after reviews come in.

ZeekQuattro2172d ago

Its almost time for EA to re-up the license. Because of this EA's playing it safe with Star Wars to avoid another PR nightmare. lol

HarryMasonHerpderp2172d ago

They will just find another way to screw people over. It's EA. When will people learn?

LG_Fox_Brazil2172d ago

I think this time it won't happen because Disney must be breathing into their necks after the massive disgrace that Battlefront 2 was at launch. Also, EA is close to the end of their contracts for the Star Wars franchise, they must be losing sleep over the fact that they might lose the rights

HarryMasonHerpderp2172d ago

It's EA though. It will probably be a bare bones launch with paid expansions over the year to make it a complete game. They'll do something because they always do. They can't just make a good game and sell a good game. There's always a catch. Unless it's an indy they publish.

You haven't play Battlefront 2 in 2020 or Jedi Fallen Order, have you?

HarryMasonHerpderp2171d ago

Yeah I got battlefront 2 on playstation plus and jedi fallen order for my birthday. If you're going to say how great EA are for releasing a game so full of lootcrate bullshit that the courts started to look into it. An eventually had to take them out of the game after calling them "suprise mechanics" because of backlash. Then I'm sorry I have to disagree. It may have taken years to make a competent game through updates but that does not deserve praise. As for jedi fallen order, it was okay but obviously rushed out and full of bugs, but yes there was minimum EA bullshit in that game so I guess they deserve one point?

Look I hope this is just a great complete game and there is no scummy tactics in store. But....its EA
I guess we will see.

dan3232171d ago

Yes Harry, you're right. I think EA might be changing with their Star Wars license. I know Madden or Fifa are still full of MT and lootboxes. But yeah I was surprised they did good with their Star Wars license after Battlefront 1. But I do thank people who stand up and called out EAs bullshit, otherwise they probably wouldn't improve anything.
I know they screw many games, but I have also a small hope for them still... We'll see indeed!
I am getting Squadrons for sure for example.

HarryMasonHerpderp2169d ago

Well I hope it's a good game and you enjoy you it. I've got my eye on it but I'll hold back for a while to see how it goes.

jukins2172d ago

Star Wars Outlaws is too demanding for the Steam Deck, get your Jedi fix with these games instead

You won't get great performance in Star Wars Outlaws on the Steam Deck; it seems nearly unplayable. So, what else should you play?

Toecutter00624d ago

Should I point out that, contrary to what the headline suggests, you don't play as a jedi in star wars outlaws.
